Katie Bradley

BS Biology, MS Physician Assistant Studies, PA-C

Co-owner and Founder

My name is Katie Bradley and I am co-owner of Well Lit.  I first began agricultural work when I was 10 years old working on various farms growing up in Presque Isle, Maine.  My passion for learning more about the living world was further cultivated when I went to college for Biology at the University of Maine in Orono and then earned my masters as a Physician Assistant in Boston.  I worked as a surgical physician assistant for 4 years in Southern Maine until I was diagnosed with a life-threatening auto-immune disease.  When Western Medicine failed to reduce my symptoms, a combination of cannabis, integrative medicine and nutrition proved essential to achieving my optimal state of health.

My work in the Maine Cannabis Community began by providing medical certifications to patients.  I then helped research and develop therapeutic cannabinoid profiles and ratios for a medical cannabis company.  This all led me to start Well Lit with my phenomenal wife Paisley!

For fun, I am a singer/ songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.  If I had to choose a favorite instrument it would be the d’jembe.  I love reggae music, funky beats and harmonies!

Through my own journey I have reaped the benefits of cannabinoid medicine and I’m so excited to share this knowledge with all of you!

Paisley Richard

Co-owner and Founder

BA Art Education, Master in Special Education

Hey Everyone! My name is Paisley Richard and I am one of the cofounders of Well Lit!  For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with nature and interested in learning as much as I can about our planet and the unique creatures that inhabit it.  I grew up in a small town in Massachusetts where I attended one of the only remaining agricultural high schools in the country.  After that I studied Environmental Science at Warren Wilson College, earned my Bachelors of Science in Art Education at the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, and in 2018 I completed a Masters in Special Education at the University of Southern Maine.

I pursued my passion for working with children with special needs for 6 years until the COVID-19 pandemic hit. Already feeling burnt out from teaching, I knew the time had come to make a change in my professional life.  In the fall of 2020, I had the opportunity to work in a large outdoor cannabis grow in Southern Maine. I loved working with the plant and decided to continue working with cannabis.  After working for 2 years in all aspects of cannabis cultivation from outdoor and indoor growing, to trimming, harvesting, and preroll production, my wife and I decided to cultivate our own medicinal cannabis and start our own brand specializing in 1:1 flower.

Cannabis has brought balance to all aspects of my life.  From work/life balance to Endocannabinoid System balance, this plant continues to bring so many blessings.  We are committed to bringing you the highest quality medicine with a focus on balanced THC to CBD strains.  Thank you for supporting us on our journey. Don’t just be Lit, be Well Lit!
